THE IPHONE WARS !! WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOU'RE CHOOSING SIDES !!!!

And in this Corner We have .... wait... is that the exact same phone only on a different network ? Well... it kinda looks that way huh? But the truth is .. there are some subtle tech spec differences ... but thats not the stuff thats really important. Why .. simple .. there where quite a few things that I found out about the verizon Iphones service capabilities that were a huge downer for this blogger. Here are a few things you may not have known before you picked up the Verizon version of this techno-marvel / must have. Okay....


1.) To forward a call with Verizon's Iphone... You have to enter a special dial code that thus far ... no one I spoke to was even aware of that but... for all the settings changes you'll need over all eventually I suggest checking out .. TUAW web site has a table They have all the outline stuff that I was personally miffed about when it came to the CDMA format used by verizon.


2.) That previously mentioned format ... Only allows you to take 2 phone calls at a time while AT&T allows up to  5 simultaneous calls at once !!! 


3.) As you may have known from the beginning .. No talking and surfing the web at the same time ! HUGE BUMMER !!! 


4.) And last but certainly not least .. After several tests done.. it was discovered that the AT&T network performed faster than Verizon but Verizon had a better connection range. 


So.. After all was said and done... for me the battle ground was laid out this way... In a head to head competition ... AT&T was the better candidate. But when you look at the contracts and the bills and the NO 4G Access By either Party .... This Blogger will stick to Metro PCS !!!
